This modern coffee table is made from a book-matched set of Eastern Red Cedar slabs. The live edge table has it's natural shape, but the top, edges and ends have been artistically altered with black and yellow paint. It features geometric shapes, splatter marks and rubs that marbleize the surface. The top has been planed flat, sanded smooth and finished in numerous rounds of a satin film finish to protect the paint and the table. The top rests on four raw steel hairpin legs that have been clear coated for protection. This is a modern, artistic, bright, interesting, organic and original piece. It's not only a durable coffee table, but a functional piece of art as well. I had a blast creating this piece and know it will find it's forever home in a hip, contemporary and unique space. Measures 29" l x 22.5" avg w x 17 3/4" h. The top itself is a solid 1 3/4". Ready to ship!
